Nalu's Kaiko'o ukes are a performance echo of their name: powerful wave. These ukuleles stand out at the top of Nalu's three lines because of their unforgettable sound and unmistakable beauty. These glossy finished Spruce and Zebrawood instruments come in only three models: a super concert cutaway (with a pickup), an acoustic tenor, and a tenor cutaway with pickup. As in all of our ukuleles with electronics, the Kaiko'os use the industry leading Mi-Si Acoustic Trio pickup, an active, battery-free preamp that will provide 16 hours of performance time on a 60 second charge.
As you would expect, the Kaiko'o ukes are blessed with Nalu's solid wood construction, abundance of abalone inlay, superior tones of the Black Tusq nut and saddle and gorgeous bindings which add to the overall look and feel while strengthening the uke's construction.
Kaiko'os only come in a gloss finish. Each are equipped with Nalu's Titanium strings, and, as it is with all Nalu ukuleles, it comes with a free case.
