NAMM 2012: Day One

Well, Day One at NAMM is behind us and it was fantastic as usual. Nalu always loves coming to NAMM. We meet old friends, make new ones and get to tell more folks about our incredible ukes. Today was no exception as our friends from Ukulele Underground stopped by to chat (Above left and left center: Aldrine Guerrero and Aaron Nakamura). Aldrine and company have one the truly great uke sites out there and have been great friends of Nalu. Such great friends, in fact, we don't even mind him bringing his brand new "Aldrine Guerrero" model uke with him, made for him by Joe Souza and Kanilea. It's a beautiful instrument and even has his caricature on the fretboard.

Also, on Day One, our very own Rick Rasay ran into Hawaiian singer-songwriter, Justin Young (above: right center). While Justin is an accomplished musician, we weren't surprised to hear that Rick just happened to "bump into" Justin near Justin's girlfriend, Colby Callait, who was hanging out at the Shure booth (above: right). I suspect we now know where to find Rick when he's not in our booth.
